hello all.. I have a old crosman 159 in great shape but the sights are crap and not adjustable as it sits now it shoots about 3 inch high at 25 feet. I need a taller front sight of an adjust able rear site. Any ideas of where to look ??
i assume it is the top pistol shown here file:///C:/Users/user/Downloads/C150-EVP%20(1).pdf
so you need to to raise the from sight with some sort of build up, tape, box top, what ever and that is to learn what you need for height then make that height in some metal material, aluminum, and graft on top
does that barrel rotate of is it index in the breech
you could make a clamp on style to the front sight like is used on a HW 45 pistol with a shoulder stock

If it's a first variation with a 2 piece breech/barrel you can use the Crosman 2 piece mount that clamps on the 7/16" barrel along with a 3/8" Dovetail (.22) to Weaver or Picatinny style mount adapter and mount a red dot or scope.
If it's the second variation with the 1 piece barrel/breech any factory or after-market adjustable rear sight made for the factory 13xx or 22xx plastic breech would work, and the front screw mounted sight can be replaced with other factory sights. Factory sights were made in several different heights over the years, both plastic and metal, and most are interchangeable. I believe the 99 is the tallest, I've used sights from 180's, 1400's, 160's, and 400's to change heights on 150's. I've also picked up random firearm ramp front sights cheap on the auction sites and have adapted them to Crosman barrels fairly easily.
